Sideline inbound for a 3-pointer
This is an excellent play to run when there are less than 3 seconds left on the clock and you are down by three points. This play has been highly successful for our squad.
DIAGRAM 1: Box Set. 1 sprints off a screen set by 4 and breaks into the ball-side corner. 2 rubs off 1’s cut and uses 5’s screen to flash toward the wing area. After 4 screens, he uses 5’s screen and breaks behind the 3-point line on the weak side. The inbounder (3) hits the open player for a quick catch and shoot for a 3-pointer.
