USF Football Player Backs Coach

The player that University of South Florida football coach Jim Leavitt allegedly struck in the face during halftime of a game, has come out and said those allegations are not true. Joel Miller, a walk-on sophomore linebacker for the Bulls, said he was not having a good special-teams game against Louisville and Leavitt grabbed him by the shoulder pads to motivate him but did not strike him USF is investigating.
