A Pennsylvania high school basketball coach who confronted a fan during a game last week will not be allowed to return to the team.

Strong Vincent High School girls basketball coach Paul Przepierski was already suspended after going into the stands during a game to confront a spectator who witnesses said had yelled at the coach. After an internal investigation by the school district, officials ruled Przepierski would not be allowed to return to the team, though he will keep his job as a physical education teacher.

The altercation took place Jan. 16 during a game against Warren High School. The game had been stopped at the time of the incident for an injured player.
