Leading Expert Says Youth Players Need 3 Months Rest Post-Concussion

Dr. Bennet Omalu, a co-founder of the Brain Injury Reserach Institute at West Virginia University, testified at a congressional hearing in Houston that football players under the age of 18 need to sit out three months after a concussion. He says sitting players three months lowers the risk of irreversible brain damage.
