High School Coaches Get Their Chance To Play Ball

Growing up a baseball fanatic, Rich Husted would anxiously anticipate attending the Bridgeton Invitational baseball tournament with his parents. But to someday play in the storied venue was viewed on a whole other level for the Cumberland Regional High School varsity baseball coach.

Husted, a 1995 Colts alumnus, got that opportunity in the mid-1990s with the South Jersey American Legion All-Star team as a 17-year-old. He continues the quest today as a member of the Seabrook Storm, a semi-pro baseball team playing out of the Salem County Baseball League.
