Hawaii’s Shoji Is AVCA Coach of the Year

Dave Shoji has been named the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division I National Coach of the Year. The U of Hawaii coach earned the same honor in 1982. Hawaii went 16-0 in WAC play this year and Shoji became the second coach to reach 1,000 wins on Oct. 17.
