Phillip Jackson, 18, a center on the Sandalwood High (Fla.) basketball team, died yesterday after collapsing during halftime of a game against Nease High. Faculty praised Jackson for his focus as he was doing well in academics, playing on the football and basketball teams, as well as being a father.
