Florida Looking To Follow Oregon With ’Rooney Rule’?

Last year, the state of Oregon passed a law that mirrors the “Rooney Rule” in the NFL, which requires its public universities to interview at least one minority for job openings in all sports. Now, Florida is looking into doing something similar. Leading the charge is Richard Lapchick, a University of Central Florida professor and Richard Steinberg, a state senator.
