After 44 Years, Kentucky’s Winningest Football Coach Retires

Bob Schneider, the head football coach at Newport Central Catholic and the all-time leader in wins in Kentucky high school football history, is retiring after 44 years. He cited health concerns as the reason. Schneider, 72, had open-heart surgery in the offseason. He retires with a record of 345-183-2 with three state titles.
