Daktronics, Prescott help overhaul Haughton High School’s football experience

Daktronics was honored to help celebrate the legacy of giving at Haughton High School in Louisiana with the help of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

Prescott is a 2011 graduate of Haughton High School, where he completed 159 of 258 passes for 2,860 yards and 39 touchdowns and rushing for 951 yards on 90 attempts with 17 touchdowns. He led Haughton to a 2010 District 1-AAAA title. Prescott was a three-star recruit who received college offers from Louisiana Tech, LSU, TCU, Nicholls State, Memphis, and North Texas before committing to Mississippi State, where he was a two-time SEC first-team selection in 2014 and 2015.

He is a three-time Pro Bowler and 2016 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year winner and led the league in passing touchdowns in 2023.

Prescott funded a Daktronics video board that transforms game day. Students create and run pro-level content every Friday night at Prescott Field – a true testament to teamwork, technology, and hometown pride.
