Accomplishments
McHugh is in his 13th year at Dexter. In the past eight years, he’s led the boys swim/dive team to five state championships, achieving four wins consecutively from 2016-19. He is an active leader with the executive board for the Michigan Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association, including a term as president from 2016-18. McHugh and his wife, Katie, are raising two girls in the community of Dexter, where he’s also a PE teacher at Beacon Elementary.
