In addition to serving on multiple committees within the OK Conference, MHSAA and the MIAAA, Copeland also serves as an assistant football coach for the South Christian Sailors. He attended Hope College as an undergrad and obtained a master’s degree from Western Michigan University. He resides in Byron Center, Michigan, with his wife, Kelly, and children: Kenlee (9), Gracyn (6), Decker (3) and Parker (1).
