Wrestling Coach Who Led Team To 25 Straight League Titles Retires

Bill Regnier, the athletic director at Bedford High School (Ohio), has retired after 45 years with the school. Regnier was the head football coach for eight years, an assistant football coach for 23 years and is best known for his 30 years of coaching the wrestling team. His wrestling teams won nine state titles and earned 25 consecutive Great Lakes League championships (1969-1993).
