WIAA Rejects New Basketball Playoff Plan Calling For 32 Teams

The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association has rejected a plan by the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association to include 32 teams competing in eight-team regional tournaments for one of the eight berths into the state bracket. This would be an increase from 16 teams.
