Vandy Trying To Recover After Johnson’s Abrupt Retirement

In the wake of Bobby Johnson’s retirement yesterday, the Vanderbilt football program is scrambling to recover just seven weeks before the season opener. Johnson retired yesterday citing wanting to spend more time with his wife and traveling. Now, offensive line and assistant head coach, Robbie Caldwell, has been appointed interim coach for 2010.
