Tony Jones, an assistant men’s basketball coach at the University of Tennessee, learned that his father, Clarence Jones, died Tuesday afternoon in Detroit due to blunt force trauma to his head. Clarence Jones, 86, was found dead on Detroit’s southwest city and his wallet and van were stolen. No arrests have been made.
