University Of New Orleans Withdraws From Sun Belt

As the school transitions from Division I to Division III, the University of New Orleans has voluntarily withdrawn its league membership with the Sun Belt Conference. Due to declining attendance, rising costs and statewide budget cuts following Hurricane Katrina, UNO had no choice but to make the move.
