Terry Gurnett, Winningest Division III Soccer Coach To Step Down from University of Rochester

Terry Gurnett, the winningest coach in Division III women’s soccer, is stepping down from his University of Rochester post after the upcoming fall season (his 34th year in charge as coach).

Gurnett’s teams have racked up 410 victories, a Division III record, since 1977. He won national championships in 1986 and 1987. He is also the third winningest coach in all divisions of collegiate women’s soccer.

At season’s end, the 56-year-old Gurnett will turn over the reins to Thomas Dardaganis is longtime assistant coach. (Read More at USA Today…)
