After putting together 324-285 career record as a high school basketball coach in Connecticut, Tom Pardalis is switching sports after accepting the head softball job at Manhattan College in New York. Pardalis, 59, had coached at Danbury High, his alma mater, since 1996, with previous stops at Bethel, New Fairfield and Ridgefield.
