Prep basketball coach suspended after altercation with spectator
Strong Vincent High School girls basketball coach Paul Przepierski, who teaches at a separate school, was leading his team against Warren High School on Monday. With less than two minutes remaining in the game, Przepierski went into the stands to confront a spectator who witnesses said had yelled at the coach during the game, according to YourErie.com.
“Apparently it was an incident between a coach and a spectator,” Erie Schools spokesperson Daria Devlin told YourErie.com. “The coach has been suspended — paid suspension — pending investigation. Obviously, we take this sort of thing very seriously and the coach will remain suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.”
