Video: Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles discusses benefits of failure

Failure is an opportunity to learn and grow. But given the difficulties — or even embarrassment — that can come with it, few embrace failure as a necessary evil on the path to success.
Coach & Athletic Director has published a number of articles on this subject (including “Dear parents: I want your kid to fail“), but quarterback Nick Foles articulated the point beautifully following Super Bowl LII, when his Philadelphia Eagles upset the New England Patriots, 41-33. Foles was named the game’s MVP, and during his postgame press conference he spoke about what he had learned during his NFL career.

The stadium at Pisgah sits about 25 yards away from the Piegon River, which experienced record-setting flooding from Helene. According to USGS data, the river peaked at 25.86 feet in Canton. The average depth this time of year is just over 1.5 feet. Flood stage is considered 10 feet.
