New Track And Field Training Site Launched

November 12, 2012 /
Norfolk, Va.—Kevin R. Murphy announced today that he is launching a new track & field equipment company—Track+Field+Training (TFT).

Murphy, who will serve as TFT’s president and owns Basketball Products International (BPI), says that TFT will address the demand for a single source for track & field and training equipment. “Coaches and athletes want to consult with sport-specific experts when purchasing equipment. TFT will be the complete source for track & filed equipment for competition and training via its print catalog and e-commerce website—www.TrackandFieldandTraining.com.”

TFT’s product line is comprised of track & field and training equipment that has earned the “official” or “approved” designation from the sport’s governing bodies, including the NFHS, NCAA, and IAAF. “Customers can confidently purchase track & field equipment that’s appropriate for their level of competition from TFT,” said Murphy. “Additionally, we’ve negotiated preferred pricing from participating manufacturers to guarantee that TFT’s customers get the best prices.”

Since joining the sporting goods industry in 1995, Murphy has held various executive level positions with BPI, American Athletic, Inc, and Spalding. He has an undergraduate degree from George Mason University and a master’s degree in sport management from Georgia Southern University. He is an active member of numerous civic and professional associations.
