New Jersey football game suspended after player collapses mid-game

A New Jersey football game was suspended over the weekend as a player collapsed on the field during the third quarter of action.
During a game between St. Thomas Aquinas and Elizabeth High School, senior running back Chase Young experienced a medical emergency. After being rushed to the hospital, Young was released from a New Jersey hospital early Saturday morning according to St. Thomas Aquinas head coach Tarig Holman.

He had already surpassed 100 rushing yards in the game. Holman confirmed that it didn’t seem that he took any unusually big hits during the game, everything seemed fine beforehand, and things were fine at practice during the week.
