Mass. School Postpones Hockey Game Due To Serious Injuries

Norwood High (Mass.) has postponed its next game following back-to-back serious injuries on the ice. A sophomore varsity player was expected to undergo surgery to fuse together his fourth and fifth vertebrae after he was hit by another player and crashed into the boards. A senior defenseman suffered a severe concussion Wednesday when he crashed head-first into the boards. He is expected to make a full recovery.
