Ron Brown, a legendary basketball coach in the state of Maine, and a member of the Winning Hoops family, has passed away due to kidney failure at the age of 58. Brown had a career record of 213-143 at the high school level and also coached in the Continental Basketball Association. He contributed many articles to Winning Hoops throughout the years (and wrote the Calendar Coaching Guide) and more recently was one of our blog writers.
