Legendary Chicago-Area Prep Coach Loses $500K To Ponzi Scheme

Gene Pingatore, the legendary St. Joseph High School (Ill.) basketball coach, has lost $500,000 in a Ponzi scheme devised by a far west suburban (Chicago) investment banker. Pingatore has the most wins in state history and has coached Isiah Thomas and Evan Turner.
