GTM Sportswear® and the National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA) are pleased to announce Rainey Gaffin as the GTM Sportswear® Athlete of the Month for November 2010. Gaffin will be recognized at a press conference at Legacy High School, Broomfield, Colorado on January 14, 2011 at 9:15 am MST. She will receive an award, GTM® merchandise and be featured in various GTM Sportswear® marketing materials.
Gaffin, a Junior Pitcher, lead the Legacy High School Softball Team to a 4th consecutive 5A state championship title as she posted a perfect 25-0 record from the mount. She recorded 110 strikeouts, walked just 19 and posted a 1.16 earned run average in 121 innings.

The NHSCA and GTM Sportswear® will honor one deserving high school athlete each month through April 2011. NHSCA Coaches can nominate commendable athletes through the NHSCA website. Each month six finalists will be selected by the NHSCA and presented via ballot to a group of high school sports writers, high school coaches, NHSCA and GTM® representatives to choose the winner. Out of the eight recipients of the monthly award, one athlete will be chosen as the GTM Sportswear® Athlete of the Year in May 2011.
