Former Dickinson State volleyball coach Dave Moody has been named to the NAIA Hall of Fame.

In his 18-year career as head coach, Moody shaped DSU volleyball into one of the most successful athletic programs in the university’s history. He guided the Blue Hawks to the school’s first national championship in 2000.

Moody resigned in March 2008. He is one of 19 coaches and athletes announced as NAIA Hall of Fame inductees this year.

Moody will be inducted at the NAIA national volleyball championship on Nov. 29 in Sioux City, Iowa.

He is the second DSU coach to be named to the Hall. Veteran football coach Hank Biesiot (BEE’-zhoo) was inducted in 2006. (Read More at USA Today…)
