For Coach White And His WCA Bulldogs, Basketball Season Is Year-Round

It’s mid-July, but Wake Christian Academy boys’ basketball Coach Will White is courtside anyway, watching his players scrimmage and calling out the occasional coaching point.
The year-round practice schedule is a sign of a true athletic program, though Coach White said the summer workouts are just opportunities for players to shoot around and stay active.
“In the summer we just kind of like to let them freelance and play,” he said, adding that so much momentum can be lost from season to season. “It’s hard to do much if you’re just going to play from November to February.”For full story, click here.
