Fired Ga. H.S. Football Coach Is Exonerated

Earl White was fired from his job at head football coach at Lithonia High (Ga.) due to accusations of insubordination stemming from hiring a private investigator to check into the eligibility of players from rival Stone Mountain High. Wilson also was charged with using 11 ineligible players himself. A tribunal just passed a verdict saying it was not White’s responsibility to know about his players’ eligibility.
