According to a study published today by Stanford University researchers, routine heart tests for young athletes provdes to be cost-effective, affordable and can potentially prevent the sudden deaths of athletes who had previously, undiagnosed heart problems. This is one of the first studies to suggest routine heart tests are cost-effective as the concern typically is the expense involved in conducting these exams.
