Ed Thomas Murder Trial To Begin Today

The trial of the accused ex-player who killed Ed Thomas, the popular Aplington-Parkersburg High (Iowa) football coach, is set to start today. Mark Becker allegedly shot and killed Thomas on June 24, 2009. Thomas was the NFL’s High School Coach of the Year in 2005.
