Did Thrown Cream-Cheese Bagel From Team Bus Cost Coach Her Job?

On April 20, it is alleged a bagel with cream cheese was thrown from the Greenwich High (Conn.) boys team tennis bus. The bagel struck a car and led to coach Connie Jones being confronted by police. Police allege Jones was combative and she was arrested on second-degree breach of peace charges. She pled not guilty Tuesday and her lawyer says she was “incorrectly” and “unjustly” arrested. She was suspended by the school and eventually her contract was not renewed.
