Camp Season Opens For Michigan Football Coaches This Week

Michigan football stared out their summer camp season this week. Coach Rich Rodriguez identifies these camps as an opportunity to form relationships and evaluate performance of potential recruits. This week the “Sound Mind, Sound Body” football camp was held for high school prospects. Next week the Michigan’s Youth Football Camp and the 7-on-7 camp will be held. The youth camp drew about 300 middle-school players last year and about 400 campers are expected this year. The 7-on7 camp will take place next Thursday and Friday in conjunction with a team offensive line/defensive line camp.
