Alvarez Sees UW Football Facilities Faltering, Wants Upgrade

Barry Alvarez, athletic director at the University of Wisconsin, has said he sees the school’s football facilities as falling into the lower half of the Big Ten and he wants something done about it. Alvarez said he will be “very aggressive” in pushing to build the proposed Athletic Performance Center, a $76.8 million, multi-story complex close to Camp Randall Stadium.
