St. Anthony Village High School (Minneapolis, Minn.) athletics and activities assistant Summer Minnich says program volunteers are a vital component in successfully running everything that takes place in athletics and activities at St. Anthony High School.
Teach kids to pay attention to their bodies and their own thirst, and to “drink to thirst”—that is, drink enough water so that the thirst recedes. Rehydrate between sports events/practices.
