Sideline inbounds with multiple options
DIAGRAM 1: 3 starts with the ball out of bounds on the sideline. 2 cuts off 5 to the ball-side short corner. 4 goes for a UCLA cut around 5, before 5 turns and sets a downscreen for 1. 3 may lob the ball to 4 or pass it to 2 in the corner. 1 also may be open at the top for a 3-pointer.
3 screens the top defender on the ball side as 2 cuts across to the 3-point line.
DIAGRAM 2: If no options are available for a quick shot, the ball can be inbounded to 1 as a safety as 3 steps in. 2 sets a backscreen for 3, and 1 can pass to 3 or look to play 1-on-1 with the defender. A third option is a pick and roll with 5, as 4 cuts to the high block to create space.
