Western Michigan Coach Accuses Michigan Of Tampering

Western Michigan University men’s basketball coach Steve Hawkins believes University of Michigan coach John Beilein tampered with his recent hire of LaVall Jordan as an assistant. Jordan had accepted a job with WMU but had not signed a contract yet. During the weekend, Beilein pursued Jordan and now he’s an assistant with the Wolverines. Hawkins says this is tampering. Beilein says it’s a misunderstanding.
