Texas H.S. To Be Named After Late Football Coach

Edinburg High School (Texas) has decided to name its newest high school after the beloved and late football coach Robert Vela. Vela died at the age of 61 in August 2007 from stomach cancer. He was an Edinburg native and coach at Edinburg High for 10 seasons.
