Registration opens for Team Sports Conference & Expo

Registration is now open for Coach and Athletic Director’s inaugural Team Sports Conference & Expo, kicking off this June at Chicago’s Navy Pier.

The expo will feature some of the industry’s best products, and dozens of educational opportunities are planned for the event. Renowned speaker Joe Ehrmann, who spent 13 years playing professional football, will lead the keynote session. Ehrmann was the first recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award and was named among the 100 Most Influential Sports Educators in America by the Institute of International Sport. He’s the author of “InSideOut Coaching” and was the subject of New York Times Bestseller “Season of Life.”

Miami Heat Strength and Conditioning Coach Bill Foran will lead a general session on “age appropriate strength training for power, speed and agility.” Only about half of the conference’s educational sessions have been scheduled, and more opportunities will be announced in the coming months. Breakout sessions will be helpful to coaches, athletic administrators, strength coaches and athletic trainers at all levels.

The Team Sports Conference & Expo will feature a basketball court and football field on its exhibition floor. Live demonstrations and sport-specific floor sessions will be held for coaches.
