NIAAA Is Offering An Opportunity To Improve Your In-Service Programs

The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) is offering school districts across American the opportunity to offer a high quality In-Service Program to their staff, that is adaptable, affordable , relevant and valid to all district employees.  The In-Service Program can be either a 90 minute or four hour format.

Topics include:  “Your Legal Duties”– outlines basic coverage of liability and risk management including the 14 legal duties of teaching and district staffs.

“Management Strategies & Organization Techniques”— outlines strategies for staffs to more effectively organize and manage time, apply time management principles, while becoming more productive and gaining balance in their lives.

“Dealing with Challenging Personalities”– this program outlines the causes of challenging or difficult personalities in our society.  Basic management strategies are discussed that include the use of emotional intelligence and transactional analysis considerations and methods.

In the 90 minute presentation, each participant will receive the Power Point in note pages format, while in the four hour offering each participant will receive a textbook and the Power Point presentation in note pages format.

The purpose of the In-Service Program is to provide continued professional growth, to encourage self-assessment, to improve performance and to maximize the benefits received by the school community from school leadership.
