Newell-Yow Among FIBA HOF Inductees

Pete Newell and Kay Yow are among this year’s 11 inductees into the FIBA International Basketball Hall of Fame. Newell passed away last year and was the former coach of Cal, led the United States to a gold medal in the 1960 Olympics and was known for his “Big Man” camps. Yow coached at N.C. State and passed away this year after a lengthy fight with breast cancer.
