New York high school basketball coach charged with shooting player’s dad

A New York high school basketball coach is facing an attempted murder charge after allegedly shooting the father of a player at the coach’s home.
According to the New York Post, the father, 47-year-old Christopher Hooks, went to the coach’s home in December to confront the coach about his son’s lack of playing time. Not long after, there was a shooting and few details about who pulled the trigger.
In addition to attempted murder, Myles is charged with assault and criminal use of a firearm.
