New Mizzou Coach Frank Haith Assisting Relief Effort In Joplin
The university is asking for donations, including such items as children’s food, diapers, baby wipes, formula, stuffed animals and more.
On Thursday, Haith and others will travel to Joplin to deliver the goods in support of the United Way’s “United for Joplin” campaign.“The images of the destruction in Joplin are absolutely devastating, Haith said in a statement. “But at the same time, the sight of neighbor helping neighbor serves as inspiration for us all. We can’t change what happened on Sunday night, but if we can make life a little easier, you better believe we are going to try and do it.”

Proceeds from the sale of the shirt will go to the United Way to benefit the relief effort.
