New Bill In Utah Would Allow Unrestricted H.S. Transfers

A proposed bill in Utah would prohibit “a school, school district or association” from restricting the transfer of student-athletes just because they transferred from one school to the next and played athletics at both schools. This would cause the Utah High School Activities Association or any school district from barring a student from participating in sports due to a transfre. Some dissenting coaches believe this will create a free for all and recruiting at the high school level.
