One of the trickiest places to find something healthy to eat is at a ball game.

Popcorn, hot dogs, nachos are the normal choices, but on Tuesday there were some healthier options at the Stop DWI Classic.

The Binghamton School District teamed up with the county to provide a festive green cart in the concession area.

The goal is make the healthy choice, the easy choice.

Binghamton High School Athletic Director, David Garbarino said, “We’re in a bunch of different coalitions with the health department. The Cornell Cooperative Extension built the cart for us so we thought it would be a great idea to stacked it with some healthy foods to give people another choice.”

The green cart is part of a larger initiative to support a healthier food environment.
