Ky. School District Bans Middle Schoolers Playing At H.S. Level

The Jefferson County Public Schools in Kentucky now are forbidding middle-school athletes from playing on high-school-level teams. For years, talented middle-schoolers were allowed to compete with their older peers but school officials said the ban is intended to grow middle-school programs and encourage more players to get involved. Many parents are concerned with how this affects their children.
