Herman Masin, Former Editor Of Scholastic Coach, Dead At Age 96

Herman Masin, the former editor of Scholastic Coach (now Coach & Athletic Director), has died at the age of 96. Masin was the longest-serving editor of one magazine in American history as he was editor from 1936 until 2008.
Masin used his role as editor to make many valuable contributions to the world of athletics, including advocating for safer blocking rules in football. Read about all of his accomplishments and his incredibly successful life at the official press release below.
