Future Of Dakota Athletic Conference In Doubt After Schools Leave

The future of the Dakota Athletic Conference is in jeopardy after Minot State (S.D.) moved to Division II, and Black Hills State and the School of Mines have been approved to move to Division II. This means three out of eight members are due to leave the conference. With only five teams, the Dakota Athletic Conference would lose automatic bids into the NAIA postseason.
