Football Referee Sues Due To Golf-Cart Incident From 2008

Kenneth Lee Brooks, a high school referee who was working a game at Thurston High (Ore.) in October 2008, has sued the Springfield School District due to injuries he suffered when he was struck by a golf cart. The golf cart was driven by a 2-year-old who had momentarily wandered off from his mother Brooks suffered a concussion and permanent damage to a spinal cord disc. He is suing for $265,000.
